Deliberations Enter Fifth Day In Wecht Trial

PHILADELPHIA (KDKA) ― Jury deliberations have now moved into the fifth day in the federal corruption trial of former Allegheny County Coroner Dr. Cyril Wecht.

Dr. Wecht is accused of having his former staff at the Allegheny County Coroner's Office do work for his private pathology practice.

He is facing a 41 count indictment.

The jury resumed deliberations on Tuesday after having off Friday through Monday for the Easter holiday.
