Suspect Sought In Hotel Robbery, Chase

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Police continue searching for a suspect today after a robbery at a local hotel led to a police pursuit late Friday night in West Homestead.

Officials say the robbery happened at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel around 11 p.m.

After the reported robbery, authorities say the suspect left the hotel, leading to the chase.

Authorities say the suspect fired several shots at officers during the pursuit.

The suspect is described as a black male.

Officials say he took off in a light gold, Chevy pick-up truck.

He was last seen on the Parkway East near the Allegheny County Jail.

One officer suffered an eye injury during the incident.
