East End Rapist Trial Begins

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The trial of the man police believe to be the "East End Rapist" began today downtown.

Prosecutors say the DNA from Keith Wood matched DNA taken from the victims of four home invasion rapes in 2000 and 2001.

Wood is also on trial for a fifth rape and burglary.

The sexual assaults happened in Swissvale, Edgewood, Squirrel Hill, Shadyside, and Forest Hills.
