NWS: Tornado Touched Down In Butler County

(KDKA) Officials with the National Weather Service say a tornado did touch down on Tuesday in Butler County.

According to the National Weather Service, it has been classified as an EF-0, which is the smallest classification of a tornado.

Authorities report that it touched down between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. in a wooded area either between Routes 422 and 528 or Routes 488 and 422.

There were are no homes in either of those areas and there was no clear path of damage, officials add.
