Hearing Postponed For Oakland Fatal Hit-&-Run

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― A man charged in the hit-and-run death of another man on a bicycle had his preliminary hearing postponed until November.

Investigators say 38-year-old Rui Hui Lin was riding his bike near Meyran Avenue and Louisa Street when a pickup truck hit him.

The driver, Timothy Kish, 51, of Jefferson Hills, initially stopped but drove off when emergency crews arrived at the scene.

The hearing will take place on Nov. 23.

Kish turned himself in to authorities with his attorney in August.

Kish has been charged with one count of accidents involving personal death or injury and was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
