Forecast: More Rain, Thunderstorms Possible
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
While parts of the Pittsburgh area are experiencing scattered rain showers, the National Weather Service has issued watches and advisories for some counties in the tri-state area.
A flash flood watch is in effect for Garrett County, Maryland, until 8 p.m.
There has been no severe weather so far, but KDKA Chief Meteorologist Jeff Verszyla says there's a chance for more scattered showers and a couple of thunderstorms this evening.
Because of the potential threat of strong storms, Gateway High School has postponed tonight's graduation ceremony. Commencement will be held tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Antimarino Stadium.
