Officials Address Waterfront Safety At Meeting

HOMESTEAD (KDKA) ― A special meeting was held in the wake of a shooting that left a Damon's Grill restaurant employee dead last weekend at The Waterfront.

Today, mayors and officials from the Homestead area discussed security with Waterfront business owners and developers.

On Sunday, Damon's Grill kitchen worker, Brian Lee, was shot and killed at the back door of the restaurant.

Extra police and security patrols are now patrolling the area to make it more secure with special attention being paid to the Waterfront area.

Meantime, the Damon's Grill restaurant where Lee worked has been reopened for business.
