New Outlet Mall Opens To Shoppers

SOUTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― Ready, set, shop!

The new outlet mall in Washington County had its big opening today.

The ribbon was cut this morning at 11 a.m. at the Tanger Outlets in South Strabane Township off of I-79 across from the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.

The new outlet shopping center features 75 outlet stores - including Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Banana Republic, Coach, Ann Taylor, Timberland and many more.

Tanger Outlets General Manager Frank Salucci says shoppers can expect some great deals.

"We've got all kinds of shops, every shop imaginable that can beat everybody," said Salucci. "You'll see savings anywhere from 20 to 50 percent, great sales going on for the grand opening. Activities, events, we've got it all this weekend, Ferris Wheel, carousal, games for the kids. We're ready to go and excited to be here."
