The family of one of the victims of a double murder is asking for the public's help.
Sonsiarae Watts' mother came back to Stowe Township and made the sign of the cross outside the house where her daughter was shot to death on the Fourth of July.
Watts and her new boyfriend Dahl Palm were killed in a bedroom at the house on Valley Street and the family is frustrated and angry that no one so far has been charged.
What is more frustrating are the words of the female victim when she filed a protection from abuse claim against Wendell Jones, her ex-boyfriend. He was questioned for six hours the day of the shooting but was released and has not been charged.
Watts wrote that Jones told her: "No one will ever have you. I will blow your brains out, go home, sleep, wake up and kill myself."
The family has little faith in PFAs no matter who is held responsible. So while the case is sorted out, the family asks anyone with information to call police.
The reward fund has been doubled. The family has added an additional $1,000 to the $1,000 offered by Crime Stoppers.
