Temperatures are falling along with the snow in the Pittsburgh area.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all counties in the Pittsburgh viewing area until 7 a.m. Thursday.
KDKA's Jon Burnett expects two to four inches for most of the area; one to three inches south of Interstate 70 and four to six inches in counties close to Lake Erie.
The temperature overnight is expected to be about 12 degrees, but it's not expected to get any warmer.
"We'll start falling tomorrow afternoon as bitter cold air starts pouring in. We should be down near zero by midnight tomorrow night and below zero early Friday morning," Burnett said.
In addition, a Wind Chill Advisory will go into effect at 7 a.m. Thursday through 7 a.m. Saturday.
"That means wind chill readings will be below zero for much of that if not all of that entire 48 hour period," says Burnett.
