Parents, Students Frustrated Over Teachers' Strike

CRANBERRY TWP. (KDKA) ―

The teachers' strike in the Seneca Valley School District enters its second week.

Some parents and students are guessing the strike has no end in sight.

The district has already used up its entire allotment of snow days and now vacation days are next if the strike doesn't end soon.

Meanwhile, the teachers union and the district will meet again to try and hammer out a new contract.

The main sticking points are wages and health-care benefits.

Stay with KDKA for more details on those talks.
