Palin Holds Rally In Westmoreland County

LATROBE (KDKA) ― The race for the White House continues with just four days left until voters head to the polls and Republican vice-presidential candidate, Gov. Sarah Palin, made a local stop today.

Sen. John McCain's running mate held a "Road To Victory" rally at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe this morning.

A large crowd gathered for the event. Gov. Palin was accompanied by former Pa. Gov. Tom Ridge, football legend Mike Ditka, the "First Dude" of Alaska Todd Palin and her children, Willow, Piper and Trig.

"If you believe in what we believe in and if you're ready to shake-up Washington and clean-up Wall Street and if you're ready to get the economy back on the right track, ready to win the war, then we want you to hire us," Palin told the crowd. "We're ready to get to work for you, now."

She is set to head to York, Pa. now that the rally in Latrobe has ended

Also, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is campaigning for the McCain-Palin ticket in Pittsburgh this afternoon.

He is set to make an appearance at the Greentree Victory Center on Fleet Street around 5 p.m.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Democratic vice-presidential candidate, Sen. Joe Biden, campaigned in Pa., holding rallies in Williamsport and Allentown.
