FBI Offers Reward In Russellton Bank Robberies

RUSSELLTON (KDKA) ― The FBI is investigating two bank robberies in a village in West Deer Township in the past month.

The most recent one happened Tuesday morning at Mars National Bank on Creighton Russellton Road in Russellton.

Last month, the nearby Commonwealth Bank was also robbed.

In both cases, the suspect passed the teller a note.

Investigators think the robberies were committed by the same guy.

The suspect did not show a weapon during the robberies.

The FBI is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
