Route 28 Blast Goes Off As Planned

HARMAR TWP. (KDKA) ― Blasting along Route 28 in Harmar Township went off without a hitch this morning.

At 8 a.m., PennDOT crews blasted the hillside in an attempt to stabilize it.

Both northbound and southbound lanes have been reopened.

There's also no work on the Parkway East this weekend, except on the inbound off-ramp to Wilkinsburg.
