There is outrage in Pittsburgh's Jewish community over the murders of a Rabbi and his wife during the terror attacks in India.
Rabbi Gabriel Holtzberg and his wife, Rivka, ran a Jewish center in Mumbai. They offered counseling and hospitality for travelers from around the world for an organization known as Chabad Lubavitch.
The director of the Chabad Center here in Pittsburgh knows Rabbi Holtzberg's family and the family of this wife.
Now, at the Chabad Center in Squirrel Hill, the community is trying to understand why two emissaries who offered retreat for travelers are now the victims of terrorism.
"In the world out there, we have people that are not always appreciative of that and whatever the reason may be, look what happened," said Rabbi Yisroel Rosenfeld, of Pittsburgh's Chabad Center.
Miraculously, the Holtzberg's 2-year-old son survived when a nanny bravely carried the boy away from the center while terrorists were storming the building.
But Chabad says this will not stop their work around the world.
"One of our soldiers has fallen. We have to pick up where he left off, and everything and anything that he wanted to accomplish there. Obviously, that's going to go on over there," added Rosenfeld.
Officials say 195 people died in the attacks including six Americans. Almost 300 others were wounded.
