Ridership Increases For Port Authority
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
The Port Authority says high gas prices have spurred ridership.
This is despite a fare increase and numerous route cuts that, at first, dropped the number of passengers in the past year.
The Port Authority says more than 233,000 people rode its buses and trolleys in July.
That's up 6 percent from last year.
