Port Authority Fare Increase Goes Into Effect 1/1
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
The Port Authority is issuing a reminder that with the new year comes a new fare increase.
The reminders are now posted on buses and trolleys.
Starting January 1st, cash fares will increase 25-cents for most city rides and 35-cents for trips to the suburbs of Pittsburgh.
The Port Authority approved the increase in November to help fix a massive deficit.
