Funeral Plans Set For Fallen Pittsburgh Officers

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Funeral plans have been made for the three Pittsburgh police officers shot and killed in the line of duty in the city's Stanton Heights neighborhood.

All three officers, Paul Sciullo II, Eric Kelly and Stephen Mayhle, will lie in repose at the City-County Building beginning Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The public will be able to pay their respects until 10 a.m. Thursday.

City offices will close at 2 p.m. Wednesday and will remained closed until Monday, April 13.

A funeral procession will be made from the City-County Building to the Petersen Events Center in Oakland beginning at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Meanwhile, public viewings and funerals for the individual officers have been planned.

 Officer Stephen Mayhle
  • Viewing scheduled for Friday from 12pm-9pm
  • Service scheduled for 1 pm Saturday
  • John A. Lefdal Funeral Home, Indiana, Pa. 
  • Burial on Saturday at Oakland Cemetery in Indiana, Pa.


 Officer Paul Sciullo II
  • Viewing scheduled for Tuesday from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm
  • Winter Funeral Home, 4730 Friendship Ave.
  • Service scheduled for 11:30am Wednesday, St. Joseph Church


 Officer Eric Kelly
  • Viewing scheduled for Tuesday from 4pm-8pm
  • White Memorial Chapel, 7204 Thomas Blvd.
