Many Pittsburgh Roads Closed Due To Flooding

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Wednesday evening's flash flood waters caused a list of Pittsburgh roads to close.

Officials are urging drivers to leave an hour early for rush hour because of detours.

According to the Emergency Operations center, the following roads will likely be open for the morning rush hour:

Faraget Street
Spring Garden Avenue from Wickline to Williams
Spring Garden Avenue from Williams to City Line
5400 Block of Beacon
All of 4 Mile Run Boulevard
Saline Street
Idlewood from Morange to Bell
Morange from Idlewood to Chartiers
McCandless Avenue at Kent Way

However, some roads may not be ready for the morning rush hour:

10th Street Bypass
Mossfield Street
East Liberty Boulevard
Washington Boulevard
West Carson Street between Corliss Tunnel and West End Bridge
Swinburne Street
