Festival Of Lights Returns To Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― There's plenty of art in Pittsburgh, but now there's some on it.

With the flick of a switch, Pittsburgh's popular Festival of Lights returned Friday night.

French Lighting Producer Lucette de Rugy is the artist that makes it happen.

The Omni William Penn, Katz Plaza in the Cultural District and the David L. Lawrence Convention Center are among the buildings that are illuminated.

The Trinity Cathedral is one of 18 places of worship that will be lit to showcase architecture and stain glass.

Next Wednesday night, two sides of the Cathedral of Learning in Oakland will be lit.

The festival runs for more than a month.
