A look at the new Children's Hospital Of Pittsburgh Of UPMC in the city's Lawrenceville section

Children's Hospital is officially moving into its new $625 million state-of-the-art, child-friendly facility in Lawrenceville this weekend; and parents need to be aware of some big changes affecting emergency care.
The emergency room at the old Oakland building is now closed.
Parents now need to bring any of urgently ill children to the new facility at 45th and Penn Avenue in Lawrenceville.

Directions:
To get to the new hospital, you can follow Penn Avenue to 44th Street and the new building will be on your left.
To get to the ER, turn left onto 44th Street (the Emergency Department will be on your immediate right). To get to the main patient entrance, continue to 45th Street, turn left and follow the parking signs
