At the Pittsburgh Children's Museum there is seemingly no end to the good times.
For the past 25 years, the North Side spot has been finding new ways to entertain and educate children.
No wonder that "Business Week" magazine is rating Pittsburgh top in the state as "The Best Place To Raise Children."
It's no surprise at all to Children's Museum Director Jane Werner.
"Everyone who lives in Pittsburgh knows that it's a great place to raise kids - and it's nice that the national media is finally recognizing it."
Beth Pedone who was watching her son Jackson at play agrees.
"It was something we knew already - Pittsburgh is a great city. I'm really happy that the world is gonna find out what a great city we have."
To be considered, towns had to have a population of at least 50,000 and a median family income of between $40,000-and- $100,000.
Criteria included: affordability, diversity, school performance, job growth, crime rate and air quality.
"Business Week" touted Pittsburgh's transition from steel town to Healthcare and financial services. It also cited the city's 28 colleges and universities, the National Aviary, The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium - and its more that 200 museums and art galleries.
Breylon Nathaniel Johnson, 2, of Sheraden had just had Chinese for lunch with his grandma and mom, Chablee Johnson, who thinks that Pittsburgh is just a fine place for him to grow up.
"Takes advantage of many museums, science centers, libraries that the city has to offer so I think it's fantastic."
