Pit Bulls Found In Penn Hills Home

PENN HILLS (KDKA) ― Police are searching for the owners of a home where a dog fighting operation may have been held.

Sheriff's deputies went to a house on Lawndale Street in Penn Hills on Monday to serve a foreclosure notice.

The heard dogs barking inside and they returned with humane agents and a warrant.

They removed 14 pit bulls from the house. Some of them were puppies. A gun was also found.

Investigators say the home appears to be vacant.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
