Car Topples Utility Pole, Rolls Over In Penn Hills

PENN HILLS (KDKA) ― Emergency crews responded to a one-vehicle accident along Allegheny River Boulevard in Penn Hills just before 8am.

According to authorities, a car overturned and struck a utility pole near Nadine Road – knocking the pole and live wires down.

Fortunately, road crews working nearby saw what happened and were able to rescue one woman from the car.

At this point, there is no word on that person's name or condition; but she was taken to an area hospital via ambulance.
