Parkway East Inbound Closure Remains In Effect

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― PennDOT is working on the inbound lanes of the Parkway East this weekend creating some detours for drivers.

The work has closed the inbound lanes between the Churchill and Edgewood/Swissvale interchange.

The closure is in effect until the rush hour on Monday morning.

No work on the outbound lanes has been planned for this weekend.

The work is part of an ongoing construction project to make improvements to the Parkway East.
 
Drivers should seek alternate routes.
