Route 28 Rock Blasting Appears To Go As Planned

HARMAR TWP. (KDKA) ― This morning's scheduled rock blasting along Route 28 has apparently gone off without any problems in Harmar Township.

Traffic on Freeport Road and the both sides of Route 28 have already reopened.

Meanwhile, inclement weather has forced crews to cancel work along the Parkway East this weekend.

PennDOT says the Parkway East work is now set to resume next week.
