Panera Bread, 'GL' Team Up Breast Cancer Awareness

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― If you walked inside one of several Panera Bread restaurants today, you may have noticed that employees were wearing pink t-shirts and a special bagel was on the menu.

And you may have run into Frank Dicopoulos and Daniel Cosgrove from "Guiding Light."

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Panera Bread is saluting the month in a big way along with the Young Women's Breast Cancer Foundation and "Guiding Light."

Panera Bread sold pink ribbon bagels. Ashlee Manti, a spokesperson from Panera Bread, says that 100 percent of the proceeds of those bagels sold today go directly to the foundation.
