Suspects Sought In North Side Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Pittsburgh Police are looking for two suspects after a drive-by shooting on the North Side.

Investigators say a 19-year-old man was shot three times in the 2500 block of Perrysville Avenue near North Charles Street at 11:19 a.m.

The victim was standing near a store when the suspects, described as two black males riding in a white Chevy Malibu, opened fire on him.

Police say the victim, whose name has not released, was shot once in the head, chest and right leg.

The bullets did not penetrate his head or chest.

A jitney driver took the man to UPMC Mercy Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Pittsburgh Police tell KDKA-TV there have been a number of homicides at Perrysville and North Charles Street over the past five years.
