Mt. Lebanon HS Teacher Arrested, Facing Charges

MOUNT LEBANON (KDKA) ― The Attorney General's Office says a Mount Lebanon High School chemistry teacher is facing serious charges after his arrest on Thursday by their Child Predator Unit.

According to officials, Nicholas Salvo, 34, is accused of using the Internet to send sexually explicit photos, video and messages to what he believed to be teenage girls.

He was arrested at his home and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

Authorities say Salvo's computer and related equipment were seized as part of the investigation.

Officials say he has been arraigned on charges of unlawful contact with a minor, attempted unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a computer.

He remains in jail on $25,000 bond.
