Gas Leak Forced Some Munhall Residents From Homes

MUNHALL (KDKA) ― A natural gas leak forced some Munhall residents from their homes late last night; but everything is back to normal today.

Officials say an Equitable Gas crew had been working on a gas line at Route 837 and Whitaker Way when it ruptured just after 10pm last night.

As a precaution, crews evacuated several nearby homes while workers made the necessary repairs.

No one was injured.
