Demolition Underway On Westmoreland Co. Landmark

(KDKA) A longtime Westmoreland County landmark is being torn down this week to make way for new development.

Demolition began Monday on the Mountain View Inn.

The land is being cleared to make way for the "Shops at Mountain Village."

The new develpment will include restaurants, shops a hotel and a bank.

The landmark tower on top of the old inn will be preserved and used in the new development.
