Mon-Fayette Expressway Continues Its Journey

(KDKA) The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission broke ground on the next phase of the Mon-Fayette Expressway.

The new eight-mile stretch will link Centerville to Grindstone and connect a section set to open this fall near Uniontown.

It will also include the construction of a new bridge over the Monongahela River.

Officials say the key is to link people to development.
