Millvale Fire Forces Residents From Nearby Homes

MILLVALE (KDKA) ― A house fire in Millvale forced several residents to evacuate from their neighboring homes early this morning.

The fire started around 4:30 a.m. in the 200-block of Siegel Street.

Officials say the flames were sparked in a vacant home.

At least three nearby buildings were evacuated.

Crews at the scene say the front wall gave way because of the fire and flames could be seen shooting into the air.

The fire marshal was called to the scene and the cause remains under investigation.
