Man's Body Found In Millvale

MILLVALE (KDKA) ― Homicide detectives are investigating following the discovery of a man's body found in a creek in Millvale this morning.

Allegheny County police aren't releasing information on the body found behind a bar in Girty's Run around 9 a.m.

The bar owner found the body when he went to examine the creek due to flooding concerns.

The creek flows through several of Pittsburgh's north and east suburbs and frequently overflows during heavy rains.

Millvale Police say they know the man's identity but are not releasing details.
