Power Outage Affects Water Service In Beaver Co.

MIDLAND (KDKA) ― Some residents of Midland, Beaver County have been without power for more than 24 hours and their water service has been affected.

Water pressure dropped as a result of the power outage. The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Midland says once full service is restored, customers should boil their water before drinking.

Duquesne Light hopes to restore power to the water plant by the morning.

In the meantime, water tanks will be set up in Midland Tuesday as well as at the Industry Fire Department from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Economy Municipal Building, the Rochester Fire Department and the Raccoon Fire Department will have water available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.
