Local Child Laid To Rest Today

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The young child who died last week at a local daycare will be laid to rest today.

Funeral services for 10-month-old Marcia Poston are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at the Mount Ararat Baptist Church in the city's Larimer neighborhood.

Meanwhile, police and the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office continue to investigate her death.

Poston was being cared for at Bray's Family Daycare in Garfield when she died. Investigators have ruled the death a homicide.

According to authorities, Poston died from head injuries.
