Two Pittsburgh Penguins have been chosen to play for the Russian Olympic team during the upcoming 2010 games in Vancouver.
Evgeni Malkin and Sergei Gonchar were tapped for the 23-man roster.
They'll be playing alongside Alexander Ovechkin and Alexander Semin from the Washington Capitals.
Goaltenders Evgeni Nabokov of San Jose and Ilya Bryzgalov of Phoenix were also selected.
Coach Vyacheslav Bykov says his team should be considered among the favorites as the reigning world champions.
The last time Russia won gold was in the 1992 Albertville games.
Sidney Crosby is expected to be one of the selections for Team Canada that will be announced next week.
