Graffiti Vandal Expected To Plead Guilty

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The graffiti vandal believed to be responsible for more than $700,000 in damage in more than 125 locations around the city is expected to plead guilty later today as part of a plea bargain.

Daniel Montano, 22, of Highland Park, is known in the graffiti community as "MFOne".

Montano had faced 18 felonies, 64 misdemeanors and two summary offenses.

Prosecutors say he could have faced more the 200 years in jail and almost $500,000 in fines.

Right now, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports the plea deal is on hold while lawyers debate whether Montano had been under mental health treatment recently.
