Woman Accused Of Stabbing Boyfriend To Death

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― A Pittsburgh woman is facing homicide charges after police say she fatally stabbed her boyfriend during a domestic dispute in Larimer early this morning.

According to investigators, Yvonne Fields, 36, stabbed Sharief Deanda, 33, in the neck at a home in the 600-block of Paulson Avenue.

Deanda was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 4am.

Detectives say Fields fled the scene before officers arrived; but she was taken into custody a short time later along Shetland Street.

Fields is now charged with criminal homicide.
