Funeral Arrangements Made In Baby Stealing Case

McKEESPORT (KDKA) ― Funeral arrangements have now been made for the pregnant teenager who was killed last week and found in a Wilkinsburg apartment.

Andrea Curry-Demus, 38, the woman accused of killing 18-year-old Kia Johnson and cutting her baby from her abdomen is facing several charges including homicide, unlawful restraint and kidnapping.

On Friday, detectives found Johnson's body inside Curry-Demus' apartment.

A viewing will be held this Thursday at the Robert Waters Funeral Home in McKeesport, while the memorial service is scheduled for Friday at 11 p.m. at Trinity Church of God in Christ.

Meanwhile, authorities are deciding whether to press charges against Curry-Demus' sister.

Police say Brooke Curry led police to the wrong apartment in the Wilkinsburg building where she and Curry-Demus lived just a day before Johnson's body was discovered, her hands and feet bound with duct tape.

Authorities say if Curry deliberately misled investigators, she could face charges.
