Double Homicide Suspect To Have Mental Evaluation

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The suspect accused in the serious injury of a woman and the deaths of her two children is behind bars today after his arraignment.

The suspect, 41-year-old Keith Scott, is in Allegheny County Jail and being held without bond. He was formally arraigned Thursday on two counts of homicide.

Scott's mother, sister and brother were able to watch the arraignment on a closed circuit feed from the jail.

He is accused in the double homicide of his girlfriend's two children, Ieisha and Naim Drake, of Penn Hills.

Their mother was seriously injured and remains in the hospital. She is expected to survive.

Meanwhile, Scott is also now set to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
