Funeral To Be Held For Man Shot By Police

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― A 19-year-old man shot and killed by police after he shot and killed a police dog will be buried today.

A funeral service for Justin Jackson will be held this morning at Potter's House Cathedral in Mount Oliver.

Jackson was shot and killed in Mount Oliver last week following a confrontation with Pittsburgh Police officers.

The officers stopped Jackson because they suspected he had a gun and when he showed a weapon, one officer released his k-9 to subdue Jackson.

That's when police say Jackson began firing killing the dog.
