Several women remain hospitalized today after the shooting Tuesday evening at the LA Fitness Club in Collier Township.
Four people were killed in the shooting including three women and the alleged gunman.
The ordeal left the people in the facility terrified, including one young woman who was able to escape from the classroom where the shooting happened.
"It was really, really loud; like a giant pop and it made my ears hurt," said witness Jordon Solomon, of when the gunfire broke out.
Solomon said she went to the workout class Tuesday because she was bored that night.
"I went to the eight o'clock Latin Impact. I went by myself, my mom was out of town," said Solomon.
Solomon's mom, Beth, said was visiting friends in Titusville when she got the call about the shooting.
"Thank God I wasn't there with Jordon at the gym, cause I think that if I was, it would have been a different outcome cause her and I would have been looking out for each other," said Beth Solomon.
"I walked in and the class was going on, working out, and about 15 minutes later a man walked in."
Solomon said the alleged gunman walked in wearing shorts and a muscle shirt.
"I thought that was strange cause there were all women in there. He walked in, he looked like he was ready to work out; he had a sweatband around his forehead," added Solomon. "He put a black duffel bag in the corner on the opposite side of me and I was in the back towards the door.
"He shuffled around in his bag for a couple minutes and he started to do the exercises with us," she said. "A couple minutes later, before I knew it, all the lights went out and I had never been in that class before, I thought maybe it was part of the routine; and like, within 30 seconds, maybe less
he started firing."
After running from the room, Solomon said she was able to get out of the club and ran to a nearby restaurant where she called her father.
"She was somewhat hysterical when she had called and all I really heard was, 'There's a man
' and she was screaming," said Damon Solomon, Jordon's father.
He said he had dropped his daughter off at the club that night, and got the call from her a short time later. He said that's when he took his younger son and went back to the club.
"I went as quickly as possible," said Damon. "I got to Peters Place, which is where she was, which is across the parking lot. And I got to the entrance and as soon as I got out of the car, somebody said, 'Can I help you?' and I said, 'My daughter's in here, she was across the street.' And we came out and met."
Jordon said she was comforted after reuniting with her dad.
"Once I was with him, I was just like totally relieved, like, 'It's ok we can leave now,'" she said.
L.A. Fitness in Collier Township remains closed Wednesday as police continue the investigation.
