Jamboree & Blues Festival In Town This Weekend

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― It's a big weekend of events with the Dollar Bank Jamboree and the Pittsburgh Blues Festival bring music to the area.

The Dollar Bank Jamboree is back at Point State Park today with a fishing tournament and a night of music featuring country star Sara Evans as the main event.

"We're very lucky this year; Sara Evans is our lead talent," said Joe Smith, of Dollar Bank. "She is very popular right now and has a new CD out."

The night will go out with a bang during a fireworks show.

Meanwhile, the 14th annual Pittsburgh Blues Festival is going on all weekend at Hartwood Acres.

The event features music and food as well as a KidZone with family activities. All proceeds will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
