Man Killed In Overnight Indiana County Crash

PINE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― A Cambria County man was killed overnight in a crash involving a tractor-trailer along Route 422 in Indiana County.

The accident happened around 4:00 a.m. in Pine Township.

Police say 20-year-old Caleb Strayer, of Beaverdale, was killed when his car crossed over the center line of the roadway and into oncoming traffic.

Officials say the car collided with an oncoming tractor-trailer.

Strayer was pronounced dead at the scene. The Indiana County Coroner's Office reports that he died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Authorities say the driver of the tractor-trailer appeared to have no injuries.
