Victim In Homewood Shooting Dies

HOMEWOOD (KDKA) ― Pittsburgh Police are looking for suspects after a deadly shooting in broad daylight.

It happened this afternoon in the 2100 block of Race Street in Homewood.

"I heard a whole, whole, whole lot of gunshots," Shon Ellis, a neighbor, said. "And then I just jumped up and I heard the kids outside hollering, 'No he's dead, laying down, he's hurt.' "

Antwann Jackson, 21, of Penn Hills, was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition where he later died.

Police were looking for a grey Jeep Cherokee with three or four males inside.

They reportedly opened fire with an AK-47.
