(KDKA)
With just days until Pennsylvania voters head to the polls for the state's Primary election, the candidates are really picking up their campaign efforts all across the region.
Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton was back in our area for two rallies on Saturday.
She headed to a 'Solutions For Pennsylvania' rally at California University in Washington County Saturday evening.
Sen. Clinton covered several topics at the rally including bringing an end to the war in Iraq, cutting taxes for the middle class and ending tax breaks for the oil industry.
She said that when voters go to the polls on Tuesday, they should look at it as though they are hiring someone for the toughest job America.
"Who would you hire to turn the economy around? Who would you hire to start creating good jobs? Who would you hire to give us a new energy future? Who would you hire to get us to universal health care that is affordable for every single American?" she said.
Governor Ed Rendell and Congressman John Murtha also appeared at the rally.
After that Sen. Clinton attended another rally at Renzie Park to McKeesport.
Meanwhile, former President Bill Clinton also continued his push around the area campaigning for his wife.
He appeared at Beaver Falls Middle School for a 'Solutions For America' event and also appeared at Waynesburg University.
On Monday afternoon, Sen. Clinton and former President Clinton will be in downtown Pittsburgh campaigning in Market Square at 1:30 p.m.
On Friday, several former Steelers and Sen. Bob Casey Jr., held a tailgate rally at Heinz Field for Clinton's opponent, Sen. Barack Obama.
Also, more than 200 motorcyclists rode their bikes from Highland Park through Wilkinsburg, Hazelwood and other neighborhoods in support of Obama.
