A jury has found a Scott Township man guilty of first degree murder in the death of his wife.

Prosecutors say Henry Lanz shot Paula Lanz last year, then got his friend to help dispose of her body.

The prosecution's key witness, Karl Laughlin of Clairton, testified that he saw Lanz kill her. Laughlin also testified that he drove Paula Lanz's body to Tennessee and set her van on fire.

The defense claimed Laughlin was the killer.

Lanz faces sentencing in December.
