Crews Work To Improve Conditions At Heinz Field

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Steelers are trying to improve field conditions at Heinz Field for Sunday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Grounds crews and Heinz Field management were out on the field today examining and making improvements to the turf after Monday Night's Mud Bowl.

Steelers President, Arthur J. Rooney II issued a statement saying:  "The field conditions on Monday night were less than satisfactory for playing the Monday Night Football Game."

He also says that the Steelers' grounds crew will continue to work with the NFL game operations people before this weekend's game.
