Fire Guts Hazelwood Row Houses

HAZELWOOD (KDKA) ― After several hours, firefighters were able to bring a stubborn fire that destroyed four row houses in Hazelwood under control.

It broke out on Courtland Street Wednesday afternoon.

KDKA's Paul Martino reports from the scene that three of the row houses were vacant and one of them was occupied.

Firefighters got out of the building safely when they thought the roof was going to collapse.

So far, there are no reports of injuries.

It's not clear at this point what started the fire.
